  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon Add more for additional flavor.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, dried cranberries, chopped pecans, Parmesan cheese, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly until well blended and smooth.
  • Form the cheese mixture into a round ball. Use plastic wrap to help shape it evenly if desired.
  • Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld, preferably overnight.

Serving

  • Remove the cheese ball from the fridge and unwrap it. Serve it at room temperature on a platter surrounded by your choice of crackers or fresh bread.
  • For a festive touch, consider rolling the cheese ball in chopped pecans or powdered sugar.

Notes

To store, wrap tightly in plastic wrap or use an airtight container. Lasts up to one week in the refrigerator. This cheese ball can be made in advance and frozen for up to three months—just thaw in the fridge before serving.
