Ingredients
  

Oats

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats certified gluten-free if needed

Liquid & Flavor

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey optional, adjust to taste
  • Pinch cinnamon optional

Toppings

  • 1/4 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 1 tbsp favorite nut butter almond, peanut, or cashew

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a jar or covered container, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup or honey, then stir well to ensure no clumps.
  • If using frozen berries, add them to the mixture now; for fresh berries, add them in the morning.
  • Place the nut butter on top of the oat mixture without stirring it in completely.
  • Cover the jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.

Serving

  • In the morning, stir the oats well and add more almond milk if it is too thick.
  • Top with fresh berries, if not added previously, and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
  • Enjoy your quick, nutritious, and diverse breakfast!

Notes
