Ingredients
  

For the Steak

  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch bites
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

For the Asparagus

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus, tough ends trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven and Prep Pan

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Season Steak

  • In a medium bowl, combine the steak bites with 2 tablespoons olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, and salt and pepper; toss to coat evenly.

Prep Asparagus

  • In a separate bowl, toss the trimmed asparagus with 1 tablespoon olive oil, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, and salt and pepper.

Arrange on Pan

  • Spread the seasoned steak bites on one side of the baking sheet and the seasoned asparagus on the other side, ensuring a single layer to prevent overcrowding.

Roast

  • Roast for 10-15 minutes, flipping the steak halfway through, until the steak reaches your desired doneness and the asparagus is tender-crisp.

Serve

  • Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

For best results, do not overcrowd the baking sheet to ensure even roasting and browning. Adjust roasting time based on your preferred steak doneness; use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
