Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet (skin on or off, wild-caught recommended)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels and cut it into 1-inch cubes.

Seasoning

  • Drizzle salmon cubes with olive oil, then generously season with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper, tossing to coat evenly.

Cooking

  • Heat a large non-stick skillet or cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.
  • Add salmon bites in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.

Finishing

  • Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through, ensuring internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  • Transfer to a serving platter and serve immediately.

Notes

Be careful not to overcook the salmon, as it can become dry. For best results, use wild-caught salmon.
