  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mixed steamed vegetables broccoli florets, carrots, snap peas, bell peppers, zucchini, etc. – fresh or frozen

Sauce & Optional

  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil optional
  • red pepper flakes optional: a sprinkle for heat

Instructions
 

Cooking Turkey

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, then drain excess fat.

Seasoning & Steaming Veggies

  • Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper into the cooked turkey and cook for another minute. Meanwhile, steam your mixed vegetables using your preferred method until tender-crisp.

Combining & Serving

  • Add the steamed vegetables to the turkey skillet, pour in soy sauce and optional sesame oil, and toss everything until well combined and heated through. Taste, adjust seasonings, and serve hot.

Notes

For meal prep, divide into containers for quick and healthy lunches. Feel free to customize vegetables based on seasonal availability or preference, such as green beans, mushrooms, or bok choy. Lean ground chicken can be used as a substitute for ground turkey in this recipe.
