  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
  • 0.5 whole Lemon for juice
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • Salt To taste
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper To taste

Preparation

  • Pat the peeled and deveined shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet, then add minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes; sauté for 45 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add shrimp to the pan in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Remove the skillet from heat, squeeze in fresh lemon juice, and toss to coat.
  • Stir in fresh chopped parsley, adjust seasoning, and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are thoroughly dry for a better sear. Do not overcook the shrimp, as they can become tough quickly.
