  • 2 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish

  • Trim the ends off the green beans and set them aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the sauce.
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and blanch them for 3-5 minutes, until they are crisp-tender.
  • Drain the green beans and transfer them to a serving dish.
  • Pour the miso sauce over the green beans and toss to coat evenly. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can lightly toast the sesame seeds before garnishing. Adjust the amount of miso paste to your taste preference.
