  • 1/4 cup cottage cheese
  • 3-4 cherry tomatoes halved
  • 3-4 Kalamata olives sliced

  • Toast the whole-wheat bread slice to your preferred crispiness.
  • While the bread toasts, halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the Kalamata olives.
  • Once toasted, evenly spread cottage cheese over the bread.
  • Arrange the halved tomatoes and sliced olives on top of the cottage cheese.
  • Sprinkle with oregano, then season with salt and black pepper.
  • Optionally, drizzle with olive oil before serving and enjoy immediately.

Notes

This recipe is easily customizable; add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a little kick or a squeeze of lemon juice for extra brightness.
