  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 2 Garlic minced
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes undrained (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup Beef Broth low sodium
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Dried Italian Seasoning
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Cooked Pasta small shapes like elbow macaroni, ditalini, or small shells
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Cooking Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet and brown the ground beef, breaking it up until no pink remains, then drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion to the skillet and cook until softened, then stir in minced garlic for one minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning, then stir and season with salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat, cover, and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes to meld flavors.
  • Stir in pre-cooked pasta and, if desired, sprinkle cheese over top, cover briefly to melt, and serve hot.

Notes

This recipe is easily adaptable; feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrients. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the Italian seasoning.
