Equipment

  • Oven
  • Pizza pan or baking sheet
  • Ghost-shaped cookie cutter (optional)
  • Knife

Ingredients

Basic Pizza Ingredients

  • 1 (store-bought or homemade) pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 4 slices provolone cheese slices

Topping 1: Classic Pepperoni Ghost

  • 1/4 pepperoni sliced

Topping 2: Mushroom & Olive Ghost

  • 1/4 sliced mushrooms fresh or canned
  • 1/4 black olives sliced

Topping 3: Spinach & Feta Ghost

  • 1/4 cup fresh spinach
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese crumbled

Topping 4: BBQ Chicken Ghost

  • 1/4 cup cooked chicken shredded
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease your pizza pan or baking sheet.

Assemble the Pizzas

  • Roll out the pizza dough into four individual circles or one large rectangle, then transfer it to the prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over each dough base, leaving a small border for the crust.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by your chosen toppings.
  • Using a ghost-shaped cookie cutter or a knife, cut ghost shapes from the provolone cheese slices; place one ghost on top of each pizza.

Bake and Serve

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let the pizzas cool slightly before serving; for an extra spooky touch, use olive pieces or edible markers to create faces on your cheese ghosts.

Notes

Get creative with your ghost shapes! If you don't have a cookie cutter, you can easily cut ghost shapes freehand with a small knife or even tear the provolone into spooky forms. For a sweeter option, try making dessert ghost pizzas with Nutella and marshmallow ghosts!
