  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey Optional

Preparation

  • In a jar or airtight container, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, almond milk, and cinnamon.
  • If desired, add maple syrup or honey for sweetness.
  • Stir all ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
  • Add mixed berries to the jar, either stirred in or layered on top.
  • Cover the jar and refrigerate overnight for at least 6-8 hours.
  • In the morning, give the oats a quick stir.
  • Optionally, top with chopped almonds or flax seeds before serving and enjoy cold.
