Equipment

  • Oven
  • Pizza pan or baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Wire rack
  • Medium bowl
  • Electric mixer
  • Small microwave-safe bowl
  • Pizza cutter

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 package (16.5 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough

For the "Sauce" Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Assorted Toppings:

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate chips for drizzle
  • 1 tsp coconut oil for melting white chocolate

Instructions

Crust Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the sugar cookie dough and press it evenly onto the prepared pizza pan, forming a 12-inch circle.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the crust to a wire rack and allow it to cool completely before proceeding.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

  • While the crust cools, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and cocoa powder with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

Assemble and Finish

  • Once the crust is completely cool, spread the chocolate cream cheese frosting evenly over the entire surface, leaving a small border.
  • Arrange the sliced strawberries in a decorative pattern over the chocolate frosting and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips and coconut oil in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  • Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the dessert pizza.
  • Chill the dessert pizza in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set the frosting, then slice and serve.

Notes

For best results, ensure the cookie crust is completely cooled before applying the frosting. This prevents the frosting from melting and makes for a neater pizza. Chilling the pizza after assembly helps the frosting set, making it easier to slice and serve.
