  • 1 slice Slice of bread whole wheat or sourdough recommended
  • 1/2 Small avocado
  • 1 Large egg
  • Salt to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • everything bagel seasoning

Preparation

  • Toast your bread slice to your preferred level of crispness.
  • While the bread is toasting, cook an egg to your liking (scrambled, fried, or microwave mug egg).
  • Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh onto the warm toast; gently mash and spread it evenly.
  • Season the mashed avocado on the toast with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Place your cooked egg carefully on top of the seasoned avocado.
  • Optionally, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice, a pinch of red pepper flakes, or a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning.
  • Serve your creamy avocado and egg toast immediately and enjoy.

Notes
