  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • sea salt optional, for contrasting flavor

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Gently melt the chopped white chocolate in a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl until smooth, stirring every 30 seconds if using a microwave.
  • Combine the dried cranberries, chopped pistachios, and orange zest in a small bowl while the chocolate melts.
  • Pour the smooth chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  • Immediately sprinkle the cranberry-pistachio-orange zest mixture over the melted white chocolate, adding a pinch of sea salt if desired.
  • Refrigerate the baking sheet for at least 30 minutes until the chocolate is completely set and firm.
  • Once firm, break the bark into irregular pieces.
  • Store the bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or in the refrigerator for longer freshness.

Notes

For best results, use good quality white chocolate as it melts more smoothly and has a superior flavor. Ensure the baking sheet is completely dry before spreading the chocolate to prevent any seizing.
