  • 1 cup Cheese (shredded Mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup Thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (for brushing)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly flour your work surface.
  • Unroll or stretch the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4-inch thick.

Assemble the Roses

  • Spread a thin layer of marinara pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously, then arrange thinly sliced pepperoni evenly over the cheese.

Shape and Bake

  • Cut the dough rectangle into 1.5 to 2-inch wide strips using a pizza cutter or knife.
  • Roll each strip from one end to create a spiral, pinching the bottom to seal, and place seam-side down in a greased muffin tin.
  • Brush the tops with olive oil and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let the pizza roses cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can sprinkle some dried oregano or garlic powder over the sauce before adding the cheese. These pizza roses are perfect for an appetizer or a fun snack!
