Equipment

  • Oven
  • Pizza Stone (optional)
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 Flatbreads pre-made, ~8-10 inches each
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded, part-skim
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced, or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1-2 teaspoons Hot Sauce such as Sriracha or Frank's RedHot, adjust to your spice preference
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional, for extra heat

Optional Toppings

  • Cooked chicken
  • Pepperoni
  • Red onion thinly sliced
  • Jalapeños
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C); if using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.

Make the Sauce

  • Whisk together honey, minced garlic, hot sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using) in a small bowl, then set aside.

Prepare Flatbreads

  • Brush one side of each flatbread with olive oil, then sprinkle a thin layer of shredded mozzarella cheese directly onto the oiled side to prevent sogginess and add flavor.

Assemble Pizza

  • Spread half of the honey-garlic sauce evenly over each flatbread, on top of the initial cheese layer, then add the remaining shredded mozzarella and any desired toppings.

Bake

  • Transfer flatbreads to the preheated oven or pizza stone and bake for 8-12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden and crispy.

Garnish & Serve

  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a minute or two, then slice and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired before serving immediately.

Notes

Adjust the amount of hot sauce and red pepper flakes to suit your preferred spice level. For a crispier crust, ensure your oven and pizza stone (if using) are fully preheated. This recipe is highly customizable, feel free to experiment with different toppings like cooked chicken, pepperoni, or thinly sliced red onion.
