  • 2-3 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts or Thighs
  • 1 oz Ranch Seasoning Mix packet
  • 1 oz Au Jus Gravy Mix packet
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter (1 stick)
  • 1/2 cup Pepperoncini Peppers
  • 1/4 cup Pepperoncini Brine

  • Arrange the chicken breasts or thighs in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
  • Place the butter stick, cut into a few pats, on top of the chicken.
  • Scatter the pepperoncini peppers around the chicken and pour in the pepperoncini brine.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is easily shredded with a fork.
  • Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker, mixing it with the delicious sauce.

Notes

This recipe is incredibly versatile and can be served over rice, noodles, or on sandwich buns. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the seasonings.
