  • 1 packet (1 oz) dry onion soup mix
  • ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
  • cup milk (any kind)

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, dry onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, and milk, mixing gently until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into a rectangular loaf shape on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for beef or 165°F (74°C) for turkey/chicken.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.

Notes

For best results, avoid overmixing the meatloaf mixture, as this can lead to a tough texture. Letting the meatloaf rest after baking is crucial for a juicy result.
