  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon half sliced for baking, half for serving
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or greased aluminum foil.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Cooking

  • Whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, chopped fresh dill, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  • Drizzle this mixture over each salmon fillet and arrange lemon slices on top or beside them.
  • Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.

Serving

  • Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

For crispier skin, broil for the last 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning. Serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
