  • 2 lbs (approx. 900g) lean ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 3-4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet, your preference)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Add the ground turkey to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
  • Cook until the turkey is fully browned and no longer pink, stirring occasionally. Drain any excess grease.
  • Divide the cooked ground turkey into three equal portions in separate bowls or containers. These portions can be used as a base for other meals like Turkey Taco Bowls, Turkey Shepherd's Pie, and Turkey Stir-Fry.
