  • 1 Oreo Cookies standard package
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened (full-fat recommended)

Coating & Decoration

  • 12-16 oz green candy melts
  • red heart sprinkles for decorating

Instructions
 

Prepare the Truffles

  • Crush the entire package of Oreo cookies (with filling) into fine crumbs using a food processor or a Ziploc bag and rolling pin.
  • Combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese in a large bowl, mixing until a dough-like consistency is achieved.
  • Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes until firm enough to roll.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized portions, roll them into smooth balls, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Chill the rolled truffles for another 15-20 minutes to firm them up for dipping.

Coat and Decorate

  • Melt the green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to package directions, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled truffle into the melted candy, tapping off excess for an even coat.
  • Immediately place a red heart sprinkle on top of each truffle before the candy sets.
  • Return the finished truffles to the baking sheet and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until the candy coating is completely firm.

Notes

For best results, ensure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing. Chilling the truffle mixture thoroughly at each stage is key to preventing them from becoming too soft and difficult to handle during rolling and dipping.
