Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2-3 large breasts

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • Salt To taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley For garnish, chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Slice thicker breasts horizontally.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 4-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.

Sauce

  • Reduce heat, add butter to the same skillet, and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
  • Pour in chicken broth, simmer for 2-3 minutes, then stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer again.

Finish

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens; season with salt and pepper as needed.
  • Add cooked chicken back to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F (74°C) for food safety. Adjust seasoning to your preference.
