Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, then pat salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Melt butter in a microwave-safe bowl, then stir in the minced garlic to create the garlic butter.
  • Place salmon on a baking sheet, skillet, or plate and generously coat each fillet with the garlic butter mixture.

Cooking

  • Bake for 12-18 minutes until opaque, or pan-sear for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
  • Alternatively, grill salmon 3-4 minutes flesh-side down, then 3-5 minutes skin-side down until fully cooked.

Finishing Touches

  • Once cooked, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

Notes

Cooking times may vary based on salmon thickness and desired doneness. For extra flavor, consider marinating the salmon in the garlic butter for 15-20 minutes before cooking.
