Seasoning Blend

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs or your favorite blend like oregano, thyme, basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground preferred

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels; if very thick, pound them to a uniform thickness of ¾ to 1 inch.

Seasoning & Baking

  • Combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  • Drizzle chicken with olive oil, then sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides.
  • Place chicken on the baking sheet and bake for 18-25 minutes, depending on thickness.

Finishing Touches

  • Check for doneness by ensuring an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) with an instant-read thermometer.
  • Remove from oven, tent with foil, and let rest for 5-10 minutes.

Notes
