Main Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts or Thighs cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1-2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 packet Dry Ranch Seasoning Mix about 1 oz
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth low sodium recommended
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 oz Cream Cheese softened, cut into cubes
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder or 2 cloves minced fresh garlic

Instructions

Cooking

  • Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Sear the chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden brown and cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  • Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits.
  • Whisk in dry ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, heavy cream, and softened cream cheese until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, coating it evenly, and simmer for 2-3 minutes to warm through and absorb flavors.
  • Adjust seasoning, garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken for 30 minutes in a little ranch seasoning before searing. Serve this skillet dish with a side of steamed vegetables, rice, or pasta to complete the meal.
