Classic Creamy No-Bake Orange Truffles

These delightful no-bake orange truffles are incredibly easy to make, featuring a creamy, zesty center and your favorite coating for a perfect bite-sized treat.

Ingredients
  

Truffle Base

  • 8 oz Full-fat cream cheese softened
  • 1 ½ cups Powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons Fresh orange zest from 1 large orange
  • ½ teaspoon Orange extract optional, for amplified flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups Graham cracker crumbs

Coating

  • ½ cup Coating of choice e.g., cocoa powder, shredded coconut, sprinkles

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, orange zest, and vanilla extract; beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Gently fold in the graham cracker crumbs using a spatula until the mixture is uniform and stiff enough to hold its shape.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the mixture is firm.
  • Scoop out small portions (about 1 tablespoon each) and roll them into smooth balls.
  • Roll each truffle in your chosen coating (cocoa powder, shredded coconut, sprinkles, etc.) until evenly covered.
  • Arrange the coated truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least another 30 minutes to set completely.

Notes

For best results, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth truffle base. Get creative with your coatings – melted white chocolate or finely chopped nuts also work wonderfully. These truffles are best stored in the refrigerator and can be made ahead for easy entertaining.
