Classic Cookies and Cream Dessert Cups

Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 15-20 cookies Oreo Cookies
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 8 oz full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5-10 Oreo cookies

Garnish (Optional)

  • chocolate syrup

Instructions
 

Prepare the Cookie Crust

  • Crush 15-20 Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form; mix with 1/4 cup melted butter.

Chill Crust

  • Press the cookie mixture firmly into 4-6 dessert cups and chill for at least 15 minutes.

Make the Cream Cheese Filling

  • Beat 8 oz softened cream cheese with 1/2 cup powdered sugar until smooth and creamy in a large bowl.

Whip the Cream

  • In a separate, chilled bowl, beat 1 cup heavy cream with 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.

Combine and Fold

  • Gently fold half of the whipped cream and 5-10 crushed Oreo cookies into the cream cheese mixture.

Layer and Assemble

  • Spoon or pipe the cream cheese filling over the chilled cookie crusts in the dessert cups.

Top it Off

  • Dollop or pipe the remaining whipped cream on top, then garnish with more cookie crumbs or chocolate syrup if desired.

Chill

  • Refrigerate the dessert cups for at least 2-4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow them to set and flavors to meld.

Notes

For best results, ensure cream cheese and heavy cream are well chilled before whipping. You can adjust the amount of crushed cookies in the filling based on your preference for texture. These dessert cups are best enjoyed within 2-3 days but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
