Ingredients
12 Oreo cookies
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup dark chocolate melting wafers
24 mini Oreo cookies (for wings)
24 candy eyes
Lollipop sticks
Instructions
1. Crush Oreo cookies finely in a food processor. Reserve a tablespoon of crumbs for later.
2. In a medium bowl, mix crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well combined and a dough forms.
3. Roll the mixture into 12 small balls, about 1.5 inches in diameter.
4. Insert lollipop sticks into each cookie ball. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
5. Melt the dark chocolate melting wafers according to package directions.
6. Dip each chilled Oreo pop into the melted chocolate, covering completely. Let excess chocolate drip off.
7. Before the chocolate sets, attach two mini Oreo cookies to the sides of each pop for wings and two candy eyes for the face.
8. If desired, sprinkle with the reserved Oreo crumbs for extra texture.
9. Place pops back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and chill until the chocolate is firm, about 15-20 minutes.
Notes
For extra fun, you can use different colored melting chocolates for the base or add sprinkles. These Bat Oreo Pops are best served chilled. They make a fantastic addition to any Halloween spread!
